About Aalekh

The idea for Aalekh was born from a simple frustration: Chartered Accountants and their clients were drowning in manual work — Excel sheets, WhatsApp document chases, and last-minute GST scrambles — while the tools available were built for accountants in other markets, not India.

Our founders previously built Vigyos Center, which raised an angel round and grew to serve 2,000+ financial service centers across India, reaching a network of 30,000+ financial professionals. That experience taught us what CAs actually need at scale: not another ledger, but a practice management layer that automates the repetitive work so firms can serve more clients without burning out.

Aalekh — from the Hindi word meaning “to note” — reflects our commitment to precision and clarity in every financial record. In Indian accounting tradition, an aalekh is the careful notation that makes complex books legible. We built Aalekh to be that same discipline, applied at scale: every invoice noted, every GST return reconciled, every client conversation tracked — automatically.
